I was talking to a rep from Glock at the local Frankonia hunting store. He was talking about a new carbine coming out in 2015 for international consumers. They saw the Barretta carbine and went with their own version. They say it will be revolutionary due to the barrel being covered by polymer casing it's entire length. There will be weaver (picatinny) railing on top and bottom of their gun. The gun will be totally modular. They are selling lights, lasers and reflex scopes for the rifles. The first calibers will be 9mm and .40. Yet, he assumes all calibers will be introduced. The spring will be a double spring. There may or may not be an external safety. Magazines will go up to 30 rounds (Glock produced). I asked about a full auto version, but he just smiled at me. Imagine a 10mm in full auto! I might buy a Glock after all.
