It is offered only through glock and typically you need to be either leo or firearms instructor (of some level) in order to take it or a blue label ffl dealer.
It is not necessarily done at glock it is often done at police stations all over the country.
I'm taking it next week, been waiting six months for it.

What the heck is a glocksmith? Sorry for asking all these questions but what is it for? What is a glocksmith? Is it like a gunsmith but you only deal with glock? Is there any benefits to taking this course what do you get out of it?

It is a gunsmith training course dedicated to Glocks. The benefit is you get a neat sign to post at your business, shop, etc. that says Certified Glock Armorer.

It certifies you with glock as a specialist. You can have glock warranty work sent to you as well as getting extreme discounts on glock parts as well as a limited number of glocks per year at less than ffl price.

Glock started a forum. It's really boring but they list courses there.

Actually, depending on where you take the course will dictate who is eligible to take it. If it is at a law enforcement agency, more than likely you will have to be active law enforcement. I am taking it in October at Brownells in Montezuma Iowa and qualify as retired law enforcement. Active and retired military, NRA instructor, security officer and others can take it at other locations. It just depends on the location. Cost is $195.00.
