Well, what do you think?
I think i'll pass
It's a highly popular choice for idpa after a change of sights and a trigger job.
Based on these facts it looks pretty squared away. It depends if you are using it for home defense or concealed carry or neither. I would go with something a bit less chunky. Glock slides are 1" wide at least. I admire glocks but the slide width is something to get used to. Now don't get me wrong, they are awesome guns!
I actually carry the G35 and love it!!! I haven't change a thing except put a Hogue rubber grip around it. I do not shoot competition with it. Once I saw it at the gun show, I wanted it and bought it the next day!!! I would love to buy the matching twin to my G35!!
I have the 35 and its sweet. A little big to carry, but its great at the range
I shoot IDPA with my 34. Changed the sights and got a trigger job. Also added the Brooks Tactical Agrip. All my mags have Vickers base plates.
I have a 34 and a 35. Love them. Accurate and fun to shoot.
The 35 doubles as my home defense gun. Both are too large to carry, IMHO. Though I guess they work for some.
I just picked up a 34 earlier this month. I've only shot about 30 rds through it. Its too damn cold out and I can't find 9mm ammo to tinker with. I got it thinking of doing some IDPA type stuff...but if ammo doesn't come back like it was it might be on hold for awhile
As opposed to what double stack gun?
The 34 is a great game gun. That's what it was designed for. Slide width means squat
I want to shoot idpa, but i cant find any 9mm stuff. So i might get a 35 just so i can shoot it sometime.
