A friend of mine has a 32 round mag for 9mm. I have a Glock 22. I put his mag in my gun and it fit. I then put 4 rounds of my 40 cal in and pull the slide back and all 4 cycled. With this mag work with my G22??

Its not going to be reliable. 9mm and. 40 s&w/.357 sig mags are different

    If it's a genuine Glock mag it's for a G18. Externally it's the same as a G22
mag, but internally it's a bit narrower, and the feed lips are closer together.

I'm GUESSING that you might get around 24 rds of 40 in it, and it MIGHT
function OK. It's a bit iffy---the followers are different in the 9 and 40
    mags.

I use my glock 35 mags in my g19 sometimes at the range, it works alright for 5-6 loaded but then there is to much pressure on the larger feed lips. I think you might have limited success but its not going to be what your looking for.

I ended up finding a 31 round mag at my pawn shop/local gun store made for 40 cal. I never that that I would take to glocks so fast. I always passed on them in the past for some reason. Looking back, mad I did Cus glock really makes a great product.
