Glock 30SF......WOW!

What a gun! I mentioned before that I was torn between the 30SF and the 36. Held both, weighed all options with both...and finally picked up the 30SF today. I was ready to make the CCW jump from my G26 in 9mm to a .45acp for carry.

Blasted through a box of 50 PMC Bronze 230gr FMJ's and it was out of the box accurate as hell.....as we all have come to expect from our little Polymer wonders. The first magazine took some adjustment to get used to....but my remaining 40 rounds were dead balls accurate at 15 yards, for me, which were groups of about 7-8" with a flier or two.

I am EXTREMELY impressed with this gun and will be posting more about it soon. Now Ive got the ultimate package that Ive been working towards....2 Glocks in different calibers and sizes (a subcompact and a compact)....and 2 1911's in both 9mm and 45acp in 2 different sizes.

Mine is on order. Be glad when it gets here.
Congrats on your new G30SF, I agree with ya on it, its one great gun thats for sure I love mine and its my EDC, with around 2000 rounds down range with it now gets better each time I shoot it... Its my Favorite Glock...
Ive been thinking about it all day at work....is that weird?

lol
Nope nothing wrong with that LOL i think everyone does when they get a new toy.. LOL...
Behind the G19, the 30 is the best Glock imo.

Yepp, shot the G19 Gen 3 and loved it. If I didnt own & carry the G26 it would be the 19 for me.
What's your carry load? I did some desert testing awhile back and I prefer the Ranger T's over anything else for the 30
I carry my G30 occasionally and I use Hornady Critical Defense. I will get some Hornady Critical Duty soon. Love the ammo and the G30 is one of the most accurate guns I own. Had a G36 and had to send it down the road. I loved the feel of the "little" gun but it just would not run. I had it to 9 different armorers all along the East Coast at different matches and sent it back to Glock twice. It still would not run. Then I found out they had a recall on the guns but mine fell just outside the serial number range for the recall, but still exhibited the same problem. Traded for the G30 and did I ever get the better end of that deal. My son liked it so much that I got him the G30SF.
Thanks guys, my favorite target ammo has been the PMC Bronze 230gr FMJ and my carry load is my personal favorite due to the large cavity, distinct serrations, smooth casing and accuracy......the Remington Golden Saber 230gr JHP +P.

Its a bit pricey but 100% worth it.

Federal HST's expands 99.999% of the time, and works perfectly, Ranger T's are also a good bullet,
Pic is of the HST in .45acp. .40S&W and 9mm... the Above two rounds are from lehigh defense in .45acp the maxium expansion rounds...
