I just finished doin my slide, let me know what you guys think.
Looks pretty. I don't have a fear of doing some customizing but I have not had the compulsion to take the coating off of guns I carry. I know the tenifer process is good but I guess I'm just more of a utilitarian look kind of guy when it comes to my pistols.
Nice job though even if it isn't my thing. It's not my gun after all
SSGN_Doc, I totally hear ya.. I've always liked the all black utilitarian simplicity of the Glock. I just got a little bored and figured I'd try and do something a little different. Anyway, thanks brotha!
I'm guessing from the clip on it that you carry this gun. It would be nice to see how the metal does in polished mode after some extended carry if you're willing to document it and share.
That thing looks dope, good job. I agree the black is good but it's nice to see a change.
Yea, it's a 9 rnd mag for carry.. And I'll definitely post some updates as to how the metal holds up. Supposedly the tenifer absorbs into the metal and will still protect the slide, so we'll find out in a few months/year..
Here's some before and afters. The rear part of the slide wasn't completely finished in one of the pics, so you can still see it doesn't look as clean as the rest of the slide.
Looks good, should have left the inside of the serations black that looks good that way also....
That's good lookin right there. I'd be proud to carry that Glock.
Thinking of doing that to one of my Glocks to use for dress up..BBQ Gun!!!
Do it, it's super easy.. Takes some time, but a dremel makes it easy work.. It's an idiot proof process..
