Do you trust the dealer? Anything short of test firing, you are taking his word and reputation. Is the laser grip worth an extra $100 to you? Given that its usefulness is debatable. If your answer is yes to both, it is a good buy.

I dig. If your state charges a sales tax, and you are paying in full, many dealers agree to pay tax themselves, just ask.

$599 for a 30 WITH Crimson Trace Laser. Do it. The laser is 250-300 alone. This is a no brainer in my opinion.

If yes the grip extension is a must and the slide catch is a good one also, I put night sights on all of my guns...

I've shot some 1911s and I was going to purchase a 1911 but the one I wanted was over a grand... And then this Glock presented itself to me with a good price and a good deal.... Overall I am very please with the buy.... I think the Glock 30 is very comparable and competitive to any of the 1911s out there... I'm not saying it's a better gun I'm just saying I think it's equally great and reliable.... In the future I will buy the 1911...

I have a G30 too, it's a great gun. I use it for my EDC. It's a little bulky, but I deal. I plan on buying the new G30S in the future.

I think the Glock 36 slide you can just switch it out and put it on the 30 its no difference I believe... Look it up on YouTube glock 30 S versus SF.... It should save you some money

It's hit or miss. Some had great luck doing this with no issue, others had lots of malfunctions. Glock made adjustments to the recoil spring and other tweaks to get it mated up right, and I "had" a Glock 36, past tense.
