To be honest i'm kinda frustrated now. I just picked up my G26 NIBX from my local dealer, which it got transferred from budsgunshop.com.

The yellow envelope which contains tested casing stamped sometimes in September 2011. So i assume my G26 is a fresh Gen 3 production. As it comes with 2 mags.

Loaded the mags with ammo. Tried to loading them into the gun, ejecting the ammo by pulling the slide. Without pulling the trigger of course! It failed!! Not even one successful feed into the chamber. It got stucked as the slide won't fully close. Examined it closely.. compared the slide and barrel with my G19 Gen4, to check if the nickel boron coating caused any unnecessary thickness. Found nothing unusual. I thought maybe the G26 needs some break-in.

After an hour of extreme investigation i found the problem. The problem comes with the magazine springs. I have attached some pics for comparison. The 9mm markings are different to my G19. The G26 magazine springs are longer by .25" than my G19 mag springs. G19's mag springs (15 rounds) is shorter than the G26' mag springs (10 rounds). It just doesn't make any sense. The tension of the longer spring in a short mag caused the ammo stucked before it entered the chamber.
Used my G19 mags to feed the ammo into the G26, worked flawless!

    My question..
    1. Did i get fake Glock mags?
    2. 1st time i purchased from budsgunshop, i admit their shipping was damn fast. Ordered on tuesday and arrived in my local dealer on friday. They won't do something bad like giving me fake mags right? Don't get me wrong, i'm not accusing anyone yet tho.
    3. Glock mags are expensive unlike Pmags. If they are cheap, i'd just buy new ones and forget about this. Should i call budsgunshop?

Planned to test my new toy but now i can't ;(.
Inputs please... I will appreciate them.
    Thank you

Forgot to mention, the G26 mags have cuts on both sides of the mag bodies. Dont tell me i got the Gen 4 mags for my G26? Or maybe my G26 NIBX is Gen 4?

If it is Gen4 it should say so on the front of the slide next to the model#.

Generation 4 models will say it on the slide next to the model # for example 26Gen4. I have a 26 Gen 4 about a 1000 rds through it, not one single hiccup as of yet, i love my 26 :)

Do the G19 mags work flawlessly in your G26? I doubt Buds swapped magazines, who needs problems when they sell a new gun. It is common to get Gen 4 mags with a new Gen 3 gun and they should work fine.

Maybe for a little while you should download by one round until things limber up a bit. As a test you might try swapping springs between the 19 and 26 mags.

I happened to pass by a bass pro shop and went in to check the G26. The G26 Gen 3 comes with Gen 4 mags. And yes, my mags are the Gen 4 mags. I can't do much here now as most stores are closed today. We'll see tomorrow and will keep u all updated. ;(

I have the 19 mags for my backup mags, i have not put as many rounds through it with the 19 mags, probably about 200, but I have not had an issue with them either.

My conclusion is.. the mags are Gen 4 mags. And the springs are stiff. So i'll just put rounds in it when i keep the gun. And i installed the pearce grip 39 (adding more 2 or 3 rounds in it) and it works. I guess i was just too excited about my new toy. Will test it on the range tomorrow morning.
    Thx guys..
