If I want to purchase a handgun from a gun show, what do I need to have?and how long is the process?

Most places you need a relatively trouble-free legal history, a driver's license that indicates 21 birthdays behind you, and enough $$ to pay for the gun.

That's not the case everywhere, but a generality that applies to probably 80% of U.S. citizens looking to buy a gun state-side. A few states like to make things more difficult than that.

In Texas no Felony arrest or charges. No domestic violence charges. When i was 18 i was young and dumb, got arrested for $10 worth of pot. Im now 30 and have been grown for some time. Yes i gave up the grass 10 years ago. Anyways, i still had no problem with the background check, took 15 mins. Good luck.
