What's up everyone? How's everybody doing?

I got a question, can I shoot 40s&w round thru a glock 20 10mm? Some of you might think it's a dumb question but I really dont know. I think it could be possible know that they are both 10mm wide. Still I don't want to buy a G20 if I can't.

Thanks for all of your help.
    Matt

I know that you can do that in a revolver but I can't honestly answer that in an auto.

You CANNOT shoot 40 s&w in a 10mm semi auto. Rimless semi auto's headspace on the case mouth and the 40 is way to short.

A .40 is basically a 10mm short, they use the same bullet but the 10mm is visually longer. You can not shoot .40 out of a 10mm pistol, or vise versa

yep, you can swap out a barrel on a g20 and shoot .40 s&w or .357 sig (not from the same barrel)

OR you can get a G21 and shoot .45 acp,
swap a barrel and shoot 10mm
    swap a barrel and shoot .40 s&w
swap a barrel and shoot .357

there are other calibers you can shoot too, notably 9x25 dillon and .50 gi!

glocks are pretty damn modular so they are crazy fun! enjoi!

Yes, yes they do, last I looked KKM made one. (its been a few years tho honestly)

I've also read reports of people using a factory G20 barrel in a G21 with ok results.

Yea m I hear ya but I carry my gun so the lightest I feel comfortable with are 165gr which I got a box of DT's ... But my stardard carry ammo Is the underwood 180gr rem golden sabers . They're hot , The golden saber has EXCELLENT expansion and they're like 36 for a box of 50.

Does anyone know of an online listing of what barrels you can match with glock models? I have a glock 37, and it would be good to know if a new barrel could extend its life if the .45gap dies out.

Goto lone wolf and they have all their conversion barrels listed for different models then you can see if any other barrels are available for your model

No you can't shoot .40 from a 10mm. The Z-Max will not hurt your gun (shouldn't you be saving it for the Zombiocolypse)

The reason you shouldn't shoot .40 cal in your 10mm is because the .40 cartridge will be held by your extractor instead of being seated in the chamber. The extractor will probably break.
