I just purchase the glock 19 and would like to no the best ammo for target shooting?
Welcome to the forum. Introduce yourself in the introductions forum as well as the one for your state. Winchester White Box or the Federal brass is the cheapest you can get for shooting brass. Or you can try the steel cased tulammo they have at Walmart for a little cheaper.
Wallyworld Winchester White Box -
:: is so annoying.... Every single time
Welcome to the Forum!
Was it a Gen4 or Gen3?
Would you mind sharing the test fire date of your new Glock, and the three letter serial number prefix?
I haven't found an ammo yet that my Glock won't shoot
Use Winchester FMJ white box.
It was a Gen 3
I'm convinced I could probably load dirty spitwads into mine and it would still fire just fine (joke! Do not try this at home lol) I use Federal from Walmart most of the time.
I'm convinced I could stick a primers in turd and fire them. (Not a joke!)
^That was actually a joke.
My 19 and 26 will fire Wolf for my range trips, and Cor-Bon DPX for self defense. As long as it fires those two I'm happy. They've functioned fine with everything I've put through them however.
You are probably right but cleaning it afterwards would SUCK!
Any ammo is good ammo for a G19 to pierce paper.
If you plan on carrying your G19 practice with ammo of good quality.
Lol. This is true. It would be the first time I'd ever cleaned a barrel with SnoBol toilet bowl cleaner.
When i got my G19. I used Remington yellow bulk box 250 rounds from Walmart. Shoots great. Now i use Wolf ammo *cheaper*. Lol
