Anyone else seen the new Glock 19 gen4 navy? I was at Fin Feather Fur buying a sig p320 compact and noticed a different looking Glock 19 in the case for like $699. The finish on the slide has more of a glossy look, even more so than the gen3's before the change and the barrel has a very different look to it. I forget what they call it but it looked as though it had different dimensions to it. This was a very cool Glock, but i just couldn't bring myself to spend $700 on a Glock 19. Just wondering if anybody else has seen this gem around or is it a special run that I probably should have pulled the trigger on and purchased. I haven't seen or heard of this until I seen it Tuesday. The coolest factory Glock ever made by far

Are you talking about the new gray frame version?

No, it must be a special run or distributor exclusive because I can't find it anywhere online, not even on glocks website. Best looking stock Glock I've ever seen, just couldn't bring myself to spend $700 on it just to put it in the safe and never shoot. It was that purty

Chances are it was a custom or aftermarket finish, not by Glock. Some people like it glossy. Looks gay and merry.

No, that's not it. I've found some similar gen3 versions online of what I saw at fin feather fur. It was a rare gen4 talo exclusive. It looked similar to these but better

Probably not a Navy version, that the Navy is actually purchasing then. Not much use for shiney slides and jeweled barrel hoods. Those look like some semi custom shop, tart up jobs. Pretty, and the extra work is worth something to someone.

I saw one in a shop yesterday and it was called the Marine Corp model and had Semper Fi inscribed. It had the jeweled hood and a high polish blue slide. The dealer said it was a distributor exclusive so perhaps there will be one for every service branch. It was the nicest looking Glock I've ever seen.

Sounds pretty cool. Wish you could have got a pic. Google gave me images of a couple homemade custom jobs and this from Toms Tactical. It does not look as nice as you describe the one you saw.

Maybe Glock didn't produce them but they were from some "custom" shop third parties. The mystery continues. ImageUploadedByFirearms Talk1461672452.456849.jpg

Sent from a phone I can use to do my taxes, but can't make a damn call.

Yeah I entertained the idea of purchasing it but I wouldn't want to shoot it and having a Glock for a safe queen just ain't right. Did the one you saw cost around $700 as well?
