Hey guys I have a Glock 17 that I just got recently and I noticed that when I loaded the magazine (10-round courtesy of the lovely coast state), that the bullets would be leaning in sideways alternately after each other.

Imagine looking at it from the top, loading one bullet in would cause it to lean to the right, next bullet in would be leaning in to the left.

Any comments about this? Problems, normal? Thank you for reading.

Like the one on the right?

If so that's how it is designed. It's called double stack. The pic also shows a single stack magazine.

Double stacked magazines are designed like that to allow for higher capacity.

Hmm. While you have a good point, the bullets in the double stack are lined parallel with the sides of the magazine. What I mean is if you look from the top of the magazine each bullet is canted left and right, not the bullet itself being on the right of left side. I'm wondering if it has to do something with the 10 round limitation that's causing the issue.

    Do you have any pics?

    I'm stumped.

Do you only have access to the one magazine?
