I've found a glock 17 for sale that is apparently rare and very unique (according to seller). It's the glock 17 factory cut away. Is this glock usable for anything other than looking at or can you actually load and fire it? It's listed at 875.00 Canadian so I'm inclined to believe it fires as a non operational firearm that's not an antique wouldn't be listed so high. But then I look at it and realize with the top of the slide cut out the round doesn't look like it would exit the end of the barrel. Anyone know more about these cutaways?

They are not rare, but are only available (from Glock) to Certified Armorers.

And it is in NO WAY safe to fire, not matter what parts you replace.

They are intended to show the operation of the pistol.
