Heard on this evenings news,
Maybe, no more Glendale Gun Shows??
this is the email I wrote to them:
CA gun shows are not like the rest of the nation’s shows. All CA gun shows along with any CA gun shop or private party transfers, must go thru a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer (FFL and CAFFL). Every weapon purchased in CA must abide by these standards. CA does not have the “gun show loop-hole” talked about in main stream media. Law abiding gun owners provide the community with protection against criminals and other people which have bad intensions and take advantage of its citizens. While criminals will acquire guns and other weapons on the street and other illegal means, those who wish to purchase legal firearms arms at gun shows are also supporting the community. When a law abiding citizen purchases a firearm at a gun show the seller must ship the firearm to an FFL, the buyer then must go to the FFL dealer to submit to a background check and wait 10 days to pick up their new firearm. Gun shows are a way for community to get involved with firearm and firearm safety. Gun shows offer safety courses, training courses and other services to the law abiding citizens otherwise would go unadvertised. Law abiding citizens which attend gun shows and make purchases of firearms, ammunition, clothing and other items contribute to the economy, law enforcement, wildlife and park services through the taxes on their purchases. Banning these events and other events like them is bad for the community and the local economy.
Please reconsider your stance on having these types of events in the city and allow them to occur. There is a larger benefit to everyone when these events happen.
No more Glendale gun show.
On city property.
Could carry on,
on a private site
If the city allows that.
Funny, you can't go to a gun show in Glendale any more, but there are still gun stores in Glendale where you can still buy a gun...
