So the "newer" Redhawk has been off the last couple range sessions and I haven't been able to successfully adjust the sights with any consistency, so yesterday I brought out a Hyskore front pistol/rifle shooting rest. This was the first rest I ever used. I set it up adjusted the bottom screw-jacks and started shooting.

First was @ 15 yards. I got it shooting through the same hole (first picture) a few times so I moved back.

Next was @ 25 yards. It still produced good results, however one click to the left (first shots hit to the right) was needed to satisfy.

12 rounds were spent per target and after the pistol rest had done it's job I began shooting off hand. I'm good with SA, but definitely need practice with DA pull. I was even getting frustrated. I usually have no trouble with DA, up to .357 and (of course) lesser calibers. I think the timing is much different from my other DA revolvers (Smith or Ruger).

Anyways, it was a good learning experience and I'm gonna hit it at least one more time this weekend. :)

Yeah. . . now if only I could shoot as good as the gun. :)

Many of us can't shoot as good as our guns. ;)

Glad to see you like your Redhawk. I've been a fan of them for years. It looks like it shoots like they usually do-a LOT better than I can.
