Thurseday evening was a half way good day at the range.
My old Czech girlfriend (CZ75 Pre "B" from 1986) and I had some fun on the 25m range.
Maybe not perfect and for sure no tight groups, but on the target....:D

Here two pics of the targets.
The hits to the left are the result me shooting a Walther P38/P1 on 25m.

    Multiple Traumas to Multiple Systems

You must be fight focused not competition focused.

The "old timers" were big on staying away from tight groups.

This brings up another old timer philosophy, "more holes in, more blood out, lower the blood pressure and win the fight."

    A good read:

To be honest, I don`t have a bloody clue.

What I did was practissing at home by dry firing with a snap cap.
At the range then, I shot 5 rounds and walked to the target and marked the hits, so I could keep the hits appart better. All in all, I was shooting much slower and I think that made the main difference.

All in all, it was a good evening at the range.

We also had a small competition, where we shot 7 rounds out of a Sig Sauer P6 in 9mm (german standard police side arm) and 7 rounds out of a H&K G36 at 100m (approx. 109yards). I totally screwd up with the Sig, but with the G36 I had a halfway good result.

The following pics are from this morning. Different range, crappy weather. But I had fun.

The first 15 rounds went o.k.
The following 20 rounds were really lousy.
The last 15 rounds came close to the first 15.
Distance, as usual here 25m (approx 27yards...;))
