Im in the market for my first glock. I want a compact so I've looked at 19, 23, 32, and the 38. My desire is for good power and accuracy. I may take it hunting with me. So far I lean towards the 32. Any thoughts or advice?

I have not tried the 32 but I have a 27 and I know the recoil on the smaller gun with the 40 cal takes a little getting use to. I say if you are leaning towards it go for it.

I have a gen 3 G31 "the bigger brother", it was my sidearm as a LEO. Although im not the biggest glock fan, i love the .357sig round.

I have a 32 and love it. I also have a 40cal barrel for it which makes it a 23. The way I see it, I've got about $600 in 2 weapons. I don't really feel much dif. in recoil between the 2 but I shoot a lot of 22, 9, 40 & 357sig. Have to say, the 357sig, is a bad *** round!!

Get the G23 or G27..buy the .357 Sig barrel, and also buy the .9mm barrel and a 9mm mag or two. You now have three guns in one (Note: G19 mags work in the G23, G26 mags work in the G27, and your .40 cal mags will work for the .357 Sig). So there you go.

Thanks guys. Im buying a 32c. Unfortunately it is not a gen 4. This is only a seemingly minor setback. As I am a lefty so the mag release is not interchangeable. The various other changes dont seem to make a ton of difference.
