I am confused about Austarlia, are the gun laws really bad there or non existant?

All i will say about the gun laws are they f***ing suck the way a person can get a handgun is for them to belong to a gun club and then all the run around they have to do sucks. With it that way the bad guys just laugh at the law and get what ever guns they want at one stage they had more firepower then the cops. The anti gun lobby always scream when a gun crime happens but they forget that if the law abiding person had a weapon there would be a lot less crime. OK thats enough out of me I'll try and find some links and post them so you can see for yourself
