This always seems to happen when my tank is almost empty. Jumped from $3.27 to $3.64 over night.

3.59-3.79 in central MN today 7/15/2013, but I imagine it will be higher tomorrow, anytime anything goes on in the middle east (Egypt) the prices start up, how else are the oil companies going to make those BILLION Dollar profits, unless the prices go up with every scare.

NW Arkansas is at 3.39, the rest of the economy is crap so investors want to make it up somewhere.

Before you all blast me for saying this I want to make it clear that I don't like the prices either. :) When gas was 50 cents a gallon the minimum wage was 1 dollar an hour so gas was half the minimum wage. Now minimum wage is, what, 8 dollars an hour or close and gas is still half the price of the minimum wage. You simply can't raise wages without everything else going up. You could by a hamburger for 25 cents back then but if you pay these kids 8 bucks an hour your hamburger cost goes up accordingly. Just simple economics. If you want to blame some body for the prices, blame the government. They raised the wages, they block or make it difficult for oil companies to drill. If the companies didn't make a profit there stocks would plummet and so would your 401k. Let's face it every problem we have is caused by the government, so why does every body look to the government to fix them? We have to stop electing these dumb asses.

    Gas,...yeah.....

Was as low as $3.28 before the 4th. Now it's up to $3.47- to as much as $3.65 here in N.Az. Thx Gd the truck is Eco-boost, flex fuel, and gets almost 30MPG on the open road and 24 in local driving. We bought a UTV instead of a second SUV or a Jeep,..because my Kawasaki gets 55-60 mph, and 50+ mpg, has an elec. assist motor, and came with it's own solar panel..it also seats 4 normal adults or two disabled ones and an 82 lb Bulldog in the backseat:cool:
