The short of a long discussion is . . . even with a new replacement LaserMax 1191 sent to me by LaserMax, it continues to turn off after a few or many rounds are fired.

The gun operates fine(it's new as of 2/08) and when equipped with the LaserMax, it is dead on out to and past 50 feet. I'm more interested in the under 50' results.

Has anyone had this problem and what was done to fix it.

Check to make sure the lasermax is not upside down in the gun. Also check proper installation of the takedown bar. Make sure it is orientated right.
