Short and simple. Should change my name....got a g19 yesterday. Yay.
What no pics?
What Generation you pick up?
Glock's best model regardless which gen!
Lol I'd say the 20 is the best model...but I own both a 19 and 20. I like them both.
Gen 3. No pic yet. Just bone stock
Well you kept your namesake didn't you? So no need to change name?
I love the G19/23 compacts and got a Gen4 23 plus a 40-9mm conversion barrel. Love it.
You know what's next... A G26! I started with the G22 and went for the trifecta.
I am debating on whether to get the 22 or the 23. Both feel good in the hand & I like how both shoot. I love the .40 round.
I keep going back & forth. Maybe another trip to the range will help make up my mind.
Both are great but if I had to choose it would be the 19/23 size. Overall the compact meets more needs.
I have a gen 3 model 19 & 30 i put the ghost trigger and talon grip on my 19 its really fun to shoot.
I have a Gen3 G19...it shoots pretty well!
A G19 (gen 3) was my first pistol, I still think it's great.
OK so here's a pic for you guys. Had to get a pachmayar sleeve for this one too. Going to duracoat either od green or fde in a couple of weeks.
Make sure you see some high quality closeup examples of whoever you choose to do the work. If it looks like it was painted and not like the polymer was molded in that color find someone else. That being the case I vote for MAGPUL OD or Steyr Aug green.
Dude I work at a machine gun shop! Ill be applying the duracoat!!! 1 vote for od!
Question for you guys...what is the difference in recoil between the 23 and 19? And one more question about the 26. Can you shoot the 26 all day at the range and be comfortable? Or will it get tiring to the hand?
There is of course a recoil difference between them. One is .40SW while the other is 9mm. Second difference is rounds capacity in mags, bigger caliber the lesser capacity. I do have 19, 23 and 26. The grip of 26 is shorter so your pinky finger are likely not gripping anything. So i highly recommend using the Xgrip mag cover or Pearce Grip 2733 to be used on G26 mags. It adds more rounds in it and also feels like G19 grips.
Well, to each of its own.
