Who has the best fastfood fries?
Mc D's still I think. Those are the only things I like from there.
To me the fry has to be crispy but not burnt. I don't care for the slightly soggy limp fries from five guys they are good but I prefer a crispy out side and a soft inside. In and Out has had the best fries out there so far and i have eaten every single fry on the list.
They cook them just right. Burger King fries have a weird taste. KFC and Popeyes are a very close second to I&O fries.
Has anyone tried English chips such as Harry Ramsdens
No Jack in the Box or Whataburger?
I think the closest thing we have to English chips here at a fast food place would be steak fries from KFC.
Nothing beats In-and-Out-Burger fries done animal style!!
I still like McDonald's the most.
Ate at your beloved Five Guys, Tango, at Dulles airport. Their fries SUCKED!!!
Bojangles fries are Awesome.
See I knew I missed one.
Pick or don't....
My vote goes to Hardee's.
my vote is whataburger. mcdonalds are some of the worst fries nowadays. wendy's used to be decent.
From that list it's 5 Guys, hands down.
I only have experience with McDonalds fries. Once or twice a year I break down and pull in and get an order. However, the last time I did I ate them on the way to a call and when I came back out to my truck the smell was really foul. No, Tango not because I sharted on the way to the call. Anyways, I haven't had the urge since.
p.s Does Popeyes make fries? They've all folded up here but I just remember their red beans and rice. Drool.
Tough decision between 5 Guys and In and Out, both are good!
Voted In and Out because it's a little cheaper.
Can't remember the name and I'm pretty sure it was in a little town called Dunoon down the Firth of Clyde from Holy Lock.
I seem to have had my beer goggles on most of the shore leave time back then, anyways, it was fresh cod, beer-batter fried in animal fat along with the chips!
OMG, it came in a news-print funnel and on went the sea salt and malt vinegar. I have NEVER had fish and chips that good since!!!!
I swear if there wasn't an outstanding warrant for me back in Glasgow I'd go back just for the chips!
I'd love to hear that story over a few cold ones sometime, Cane.
Anyhow, I voted McD's if you can get them fresh and hot. The only way I can eat Wendy's fries is by dipping them in the Frosty.
Of course, my experience is very limited. No 5 Guys, no I&O, no nothing but the big 3 around here. We do have a Hardees and I prefer them burger wise to most, but not the fries.
I gotta hit the 5 Guys in Winchester the next time I am out that way.
On your list, McD's. Checkers has pretty good seasoned fries.
What does that mean? We don't have an In-and-Out Burger in my neck of the woods but my son just came back from a trip to Cali and Nevada and said he had a burger there made "animal style" and it was very good. I think in the burger that just meant with grilled onions.
I think Burger King has pretty good fries.
Arbys. The roast beef place. Curly Fries.
Oohh, I like 'em. Love the tater cakes dipped in horsey sauce better. Good call!
