Has anyone removed the front sight/ bayonet lug from a SKS without just cutting off the parts?
I have put my SKS into a SGM bullpup stock, and was wondering if the pins could be driven out and the parts either unscrewed or pressed off. I wanted to put a flash suppressor on the barrel, and did not want to permanently cut anything off that could be disassembled instead.
The rifle has a spike bayonet mount on it.
    Thanks,
