    Today being Friday,
I wore my Red shirt down to Turners to pickup my
    10/22lazer.
Now cant wait to fire some rounds.

Doing the Red Shirt Friday routine? Good for you.

Of course, the fact that I look positively dashing in red is just a bonus.....

    Red Shirt Friday

    Some years ago,
someone came up with the idea of wearing a RED shirt on Fridays to honor the Troops.
    Don't know who or where.
    And Thanks.

Wore camo today. Had flashbacks. Called my brother (still active duty, getting ready to go for round 8 in Iraq).

    Close enough.

I worry. I keep telling him he's really pushing his luck. He reminds me he's a Bradley mechanic, and I remind him of how many vehicles he's had blown out from under him.

Two per deployment until last year, when it was 6. And he was a DESK JOCKEY on that trip. Feels like the more he pushes a pencil, the more dangerous it gets for him.

Then he tells me, "well I'm not the guy who joined the infantry and went off LOOKING for a fight." Thanks bro. Love you too.
