So I want to do a build. But I want to free float the barrel. Is there a particular barrel, barrel nut, or upper, etc ill need to use? I've never dealt with free floating before. Any help would be awesome

Most free float handguards will come with their own proprietary barrel nut. That's about all that you would need.

Might want to go to youtube and watch a few videos covering "how to change to a free float tube" besides the tube kit you will need a vise, ar wrench and a action block set the control the receiver like this -http://www.midwayusa.com/product/310152/promag-armorers-upper-and-lower-receiver-action-block-set-ar-15

One you have everthing to do the swap with its only a 15 minute job to swap out.

    Watch- brownell's video- http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...&mid=C6387009DBBE56FCCD2DC6387009DBBE56FCCD2D

That video was exactly what I wanted to know.

And thanks purehavoc. I might have to hit you up some time. Maybe have a central IL range day or something haha
