Yesterday i joined this site and was looking at buying my first handgun and asked some advice, afterward i went to my grandpa's house and was talking to him about handguns and he decided to show me some of his guns. We walked to his gun safe and he showed me some of them and they all made me drool then he pulled out a old Colt. Then explained what it was to me i should of took a picture but i found one on the internet.

but there was something else about it he pointed out, if you notice each part has a Number on it after a quick inspection of it after he bought it from a Pawn shop 10 years ago he found out it was also a Match weapon every part on it read the last 3 numbers 857.

Just wanted to share the Awesomeness with you all.:D

Not quite a 1911- VERY minor differences. Yes, the Norwegians had serial number on every part big enough to number. Notice that the slide release also has a different shape. Those were very nice pistols. See link: Kongsberg Colt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing that with us. I think I'd better start spending some time in pawnshops. :D

This is the first time I noticed the dog leg in the slide stop. Guss I am not as observant as I should be.
