Yes, Gordon is still alive. Still playing. It's the maple syrup and Canadian bacon that does it.

And doubtless Canadian Whiskey. I learned in the 70's, NEVER go to Gordon's second show.

And personally, i would love to know what he has done, aside from his stanve on the 2A, that is so nauseating. Been to gaty pride marches, while making out with 5 other guys, public sex by an elementary school, going to bars, and hitting on straight men, while refusing to take no for an answer, what?So far, like with most of my LGBTQ friends, I have seen nothing like that, even at openly gay bars and clubs.

As far as actions, he has done nothing worse than Bill Clinton did with Monica. Literally. Or some men do with their wife.

as to why I don't do it, might it have something to do more with being on the receiving end of that kind of BS, rather than education? Some of the rudest people I know have more than a few letters after their names. Ones like AAS, BAS, MAS, MD, DDS, and several others, including Esq.

After all, most of my life, I was the new kid, who also had weight issues, and didn't talk "normal" for the area I found myself in, and look or dress to their standards. Maybe I have a clue about how much that s*** hurts, so I make the choice not to do it. Maybe I'm just mature enough to see no point in doing it. Maybe that's also why I call others out for doing it as well.

As to wanting you around, hell yes I want you around, as I count you among my friends, and family here. You are one of the ones i look to first, if I have a question on certain things, because of one thing. I know I will get a straight answer out of you. And I respect you for that.

You, Winds, and Dallas, when I left a couple years back, were the first ones to track me down, to try to get me to come back, and that tells me a lot about you.

XD Talk is Verticalscope owned and is very potty-mouthed with a heavy dose of softcore porn.

The mods are the ones who make and enforce rules, or not. That's been the case for a long time on every Verticalscope owned site I've been on, a lot of them being automotive forums.

In the gun world if you really want to run a potty mouth try ar15.com. They have some rules, but bad words won't get you banned. If you want to see the worst of the worst pussified sites, try Gun & Game. Just posting an acronym with a potty word will get your account throttled - permanently.

It was about 2015 when Torstar and vertical scope took over several sights.

The ones I frequented then all lost about half their members because of it.

I wasnt here in 2015 so I dont know if that happened here or not. If not this site dodged a bullet.

members leave for a lot of other reasons, and not because of who owns the site.

back in the day around 2000, ASSWEB had a huge membership, numbering in a few thousands with lot of thread pages. well, when they started going "full retard" with militia nuts, conspiracy theorist nutjobs, neo Nazi that dominated all the threads, the vast majority of members said, "the hell with this, I don't want to be a part of this anymore, it's gone down the sewer" ......and they left little by little. until you have a site that has around 500 register members today.

same for a lot of gun forums, that I won't name, but know members have left in droves from where it once was. people leave for a variety of reason and it has nothing to do with who owns them, but the site owners/admin, mods and especially the members or they just get tried of them, those are biggest reasons people leave

I know it's fashionable to blame liberals for everything on gun forums, but in this case you can't pin that badge on them...……….pin it on the members etc,,,, on those forums
