Okay, I'm new and learning. What exactly are those and what are they shot out of or used for? Let me take a guess and say they are bullets to be seated on some brass eventually. Am I close?
WOC they are cast bullets that look to be 45 caliber and maybe about 240gr. So I am guessing for a 45 Long Colt.
The bullets in question are 255 grain, .430 diameter. This is a clone of the H&G 503 from a HiMec mould. Elmer Keith shot this bullet {or something real close} in his 44s.
Nice job. No wonder using a fine mold block. Your lube and sizer is working on time, very good. Ole Elmer used the Lyman #429244 with a 1 to 1 alloy of WWS to linotype. He was a dyed in the wool fan of 2400 powder. Nice casting. good luck. DK
