This is not an m&p question but I was hoping someone here may have some input. My brother has a s&w 4566 in 45acp. He is having a difficult time finding magazines for it. Does anyone know if there are other compatible model s that I can search for mags or maybe a supplier of the 4566 mags? Thank you for your time

I am not flaming your brother's choice of firearm. To each their own.

I would suggest that he sell it and learn.
When one places hard earned money down a firearm, the cheapest and most beneficial thing to do is research to find out if aftermarket parts and accessories are readily available.

Ask the people who purchased the Bren Ten.

Having a 645, I purchased two USA magazines when I bought it and added a couple of Smith magazines later. They function as well as the Smiths. The 10 rounder was an experiment because I was shooting bowling pins at the time (9 pins). The after market and the factory all worked fine.
The gun was a 1st generation auto and as such was solid (heavy, if you choose) not very ergonomic (revolvers had started to be and target autos, well, there was a company that if you made what you wanted on a standard grip using plastic wood they would make you one from scratch).
It is reliable, the Bo mar sights are good. If I run out of cartridges, to paraphrase Bob Smith about his Smith 29, "--- I can always use it as a club." Tell your brother to have fun and shoot well.

The 4566 is the "commander" sized Smith .45 third generation auto. The magazine for the 4506, 4576 and 4546 and 4586 work perfectly. If your brother wants to sell the "little" .45, keep me in mind
