Anyone know of any ranges in the dfe area that will let you shoot fmj from your rifles? Been thinking of getting a mosin nagant for the cheap ammo but what good will it do if I can't shoot it anywhere

MOST outdoor ranges have no problem with FMJ. Some DO object to steel cored bullets, believing them to be a fire/penetration hazard. You will need to check with the ranges.

Here in Virginia we have ONE indoor range that permits centerfire rifle with any standard bullet up to .300 Win Mag- but they have one hell of a backstop!

Oh yeah that's only about a 15 minute drive

Eagle gun range, you can shoot anything under .50 caliber and allows FMJ.
