wondering if anyone has book of serial numbers/mfg dates for Savage 99 300. Got 300 I acquired and Savage says older than what they can identify. se#657754 , I've about narrowed down to sometime in 1920's.

http://www.savage99.com/savage99_dates.htm I don't know if they are correct but this site says it was made in 1951 or later. They have a list of the "lever boss codes" that might help you narrow it down. I thought I might have a book but couldn't find one. Sorry I couldn't help more.
