I'm completing my list of hunting needs. My search has now taking me to buying a flashlight. How many lumen do I need, what else should I look for in my purchase, are blood tracking lights worth it?
Forget the tracking light. Best blood tracking light is a lantern. A small pen light in either blue or red would be all you need to get to you blind/stand. You're better off just spending the time memorizing the way to said spot. Lights scare away deer. They don't forget that there is something strange in that area either.
i have a couple diffrent surefire lights they have two settings on the button the first setting is 15 lumens at 45 battery hours the second setting is 200 lumens at 2.5 battery hours they are very good lights.i really dont use blood tracking lights though.
