Bought a MarkIII4 and a XD9 yesterday, took them to the range today along with a .22 Heritage that I bought a while back.

First the Heritage. Good gun for what I wanted it for, teaching the kids to shoot. Surprisingly accurate, easy to use, has one cylinder that fits a little tight. Fun little gun, happy but if I had it to do over again I would go for the Ruger Single Six just for quality reasons.

The MarkIII4 was just plain fun. 300 rounds with one jam on the fourth shot which made me a little nervous but after that flawless. I had even found a carton of old Remington 22lr that had to be at least 15 years old probably older that fired with out a hiccup. I shot 50 Federal and 50 Thunderbolts. The one jam was with Federal. The gun is very accurate, very fun to shoot, I just had a lot of fun shooting it. Very happy with that purchase, no regrets.

The XD9 was fun easy to shoot, like the sights, love the feel. Only 50 rounds through it and could put my fist through the target afterwards. Very happy with this purchase also, no regrets.

I walked out with a big smile on my face.

Keep working with the XD 9, and before long you'll only be able to fit your finger through that hole! :D
