First time changing a scope color.

    I've worked on countless other firearms and firearms parts - but never got around to trying it on optics. Something about expensive glass and goofing up that makes one hesitant.

    So I bought up a bunch of cheap used optics to practice on, came out pretty good I think:

    It does look great. You didn't say but presumably you checked and you aren't having any problem with the optics themselves after the refinish.

    I have used duracoat and it is by far the best I have ever seen on a firearm the first time and it looked incredible beyond belief. I would tell everyone to purchase it because it cannot come out wrong. Whether you are camouflaging or using different colors you are going to be so pleased with the professional look you get the very first time using it. Good luck buddy!

    Don't know if I'd take it quite that far :D, there are some dudes out there who should never get within 30 feet of spray paint. But I agree with you about Duracoat. Excellent stuff.
