I wanted one .40 S&W gun and as much a I like shooting my Beretta I generally dislike DA/SA guns. Not fond of transitioning from DA to SA.

That's why I like 1911s (SAO) and revolvers (I never cock the hammer on DA revolvers). So I bought a police trade SIG 226 DAK in .40 S&W. I figure its one constant trigger pull from shot to shot, just like my revolvers. Here's the kicker I spent $425 and got it with 4 mags, box, manual, and 100 rounds of Winchester 180 grain BCHPs.

Oh, and no stupid rail! :)

Great price! Great gun too...except for the DAK part. I guess I just really like the Sig short reset trigger. But then I also hate DA revolver triggers. Like the revolvers, but I almost always manually lock the hammer back with each shot at the range (I don't carry a revolver).

Good platform for .40. DAK is what it is.

226 is a great size for the caliber and trigger.

Didn't look up going prices but with 4 mags and Ammo also seems like a good deal. Enjoy :)

I'm a big DA revolver fan, so the DAK trigger is perfect for me. Its just a hi-cap flat wheelie :D

You can never go wrong with a Sig, I've got three and one is a P226R in .40. I think that's a good price ( mags are NOT cheap:))
