Oh cool, and yeah that will be interesting. In your poll, I was surprised. I thought 50+ would have a lot more people!

So far, my poll seems to register a higher percentage of uhh "experienced" users!

Damn. That's a nice gental curve. I was thinking that at 35 I would be one of the younger ones. I guess I can still have fun here when I get real old. Cool.

Let's just say that AARP has not gotten me to attend their "55 stay alive" driving course.

But then, the AARP stand against guns is only one reason I have not joined.

The age and maturity of this forum is the main reason it is my interwebz home. I have little patience for young tacticool mall ninjas anymore...

One thing I've noticed is that us older guys can generally SPELL better than the younger guys.....so we've got THAT going for us also!

Me, i'm only tewenty but have been hunting and shooting since I can remember. I feel it takes a mature person to take on the responsibility of carrying a firearm and thats probably the reason there are more older people here, plus there are a lot of sheeple in my generation who just think what the media tells them and aren't interested in owning firearms for self protection, hunting, any other reason. I think this site is one of the best on the web due to the wealth of knowledge and friendly nature, just can't beat it.

Not a bad poll that I have been kinda curious about too. Personally, I would of spread out the ages a bit differently though, something like this because of the huge amount of maturing someone does from their 19th to their 30th birthday.

    18 and under
    19-25
    25-30
    31-40
    41-50
    51-60
    61 and up

Oh and the sake of disclosure I'm 23.

    I resemble that remark!

No one here is holding you to a high standard, Dave. Some things just can't be changed, so why even try?
