Where did you get the stock from?

It is a very nice looking job you did there.

I have 2 stocks and 1 gun that needs a bluing job. My spring and summer is going to be very full working on them.

I see only one problem and its huge..............you just give us one photo. And you dont tell what finish brand do you used, I know 99% of the job y sanding and polishing, but a good product helps.
    Thanks and congratulations

Sorry about that Mtyjack, I used TRUEOIL, I picked it up at the woodcraft store here in town, I tested first on some scrap walnut I had and through a long learning curve found what worked best for me. I tried just wiping it on with a cloth, to cheese cloth, sponge applicator...I didn't like the streaking that I was left with, and found that my bare hands worked best. I sanded the stock down with 600 grit aluminum oxide paper and started to rub it in by hand as I could control the heat build up as I applied pressure to the rub and it just fell in place after that. As far as more photo's Ill try to up load, but I don't have an easy time uploading photo's, other sites not a problem, here takes for ever and its hit and miss.
