Guys please sign this petition we are so close to having 25,000 signatures. The sooner we get them the better off we are to be able to revert these atrocities that New York considers to be laws. It only takes a couple minutes to make an account and virtually sign this petition. Tell your buddies at the gun range and share it all over your social media networks. The link is posted below:

I have signed soooo many petitions its rediculous. I hope beyond hope that someone can effect an overturning of this law. I spoke with 2 folks waiting to get their three boxes of ammo at the WalMart store and were griping to the cashier, I asked them casually if they were as aggravated, as I they said "of course". When I asked if they had called their reps or written anyone or sent or signed a petition and sadly unbeleivably their response was "uh-no". They were figuring it was to be overturned by the Supreme Court... Are you freaking kidding me???????????????

Sorry, but with so many signatures what in NY have you ever accomplished? Sorry, but you need to be more realistic. Practical. You are not overturning ANYTHING in NY State THROUGH NY State and any organization that suggests this is incompetent or lying to you.

Well if that is your only logical alternative I'll take your word for it that doesn't appeal to you and have to agree.

NY, now understandably the undisputed progressive capital of the country.

Just wait and see how aggravated they get if the NY Safe Act is allowed to stand. Because if it does, then "hunting" will be the next target of the gun control crowd and you can bet the farm it will start with the closure of public hunting lands

    Good luck NY ...

My wife has a job interview next friday in warren PA. This hasn't stopped her or me from signing every petition we have come across since this BS started. It certainly has not stopped us from passing on the word to every other gun owner we know, and helping those we know who are not computer literate to sign them as well. We have also signed on to a local lawyer's class action suit as well. We are just exploring all of our options at this point.

BTW, the job in Warren is for a spot on next years cafeteria staff, which is what her job is currently in the district we are in. If she gets it, she will be working for the school, not a private company, as she is now. Fingers are crossed, and prayers are sent on both issues. If all goes well, we will move to PA in the summer.

Your somewhat correct in your short sighted assertions. Being one of the oldest states in the Union, NY has had many firsts, not all of them good or bad. Again correct when you mention NY Progressives venture into Socialism before most states, again with no understanding of what is to come in NY!

We will rise again, stronger and better than ever. We have everything here that most states wish they had! Our Natural Resources are endless and thus-far virtually untapped, we sell power to others, we dont buy it! I have 3 wells on 9 acres, all provide perfect endless water. We have no droughts, no carbon fuel resources that are nearing end of life and we couldnt possibly lose any more manufacturing but Remington. Hundreds of Species of wild yummy Animals and Fish, Agricultural diversity galore and a very hearty upstate citizenry. Were poised to take back all those citizens we lost in the last 20 years!

NY is not a just a city, I could lose Brooklyn in my back yard (I could only wish)! We are a huge Rural state and just because they have tried to move us all to the left for a period of time doesnt mean we wont move it back! We will do what The Entire USA didnt when the Patriot act was rammed down our throats, overturn that sucker!

Andy's political career is done in this state, his Democrud Buddies and a some really stupid Republicans who supported it will be history as well. The Safe act has awoken and enraged a sleeping tiger. The Act will be reversed, if not before Coumo's sent packing, soon after.

I have to agree with this. "Mario Junior" has comited political suicide with this latest attack on our rights, as have many who voted for this so called "Safe" act.

I have an idea to pass on to you all. Someone needs to get a member of the State Senate or House to start a bill to make NYC, Westchester, and Rockland counties a seperate state, I.E., remove them from the rest of NY state. It needs to be worded in such a way that if the majority of Upstate NY votes yes on the seperation, it will happen. Throw NYC a bone and let them keep Cuomo and the other antis as well. We have no use for them, and we could probably sh!T a better govenor than him anyway. Just my $.02, YMMV.

Culdee, I understand your anger. But I can read you -- you've never been active, don't know how things work, and just stamp your feet when you don't get (or keep) what you want. But too little, too late, too ineffective, and aimed at the wrong people. You have lost. It's over. And for everyone in NY, other than you I have to say now, it's a shame.

Now the less-than-average-intelligent are being taken advantage of NOT by the politicians and authorities but by the make-believe defenders of 2nd Amendment rights in NY State. EVERY faux gun-rights and TEA Party group that wants your name and money is a sham. And it sounds like you'll continue to do nothing of any usefulness. I truly hope you knock yourself out...

...others will learn from your (ongoing) mistake(s). You live behind the lines, in occupied territory, but when push comes to shove you will get right in line like the punished little boy.

I would almost say your right on this if the NY Legislature had put this through some type of open process that allowed discussion before the vote but that never happened. Because that didnt occur, 50+ counties in the state had no say in the law and they encompass 90% of the tax paying landowners in the state.

The first step to overthrowing bad law is to find out how many disapprove of the law as it stands. They may have large enough numbers in Rockland, Westchester and a few other downstate counties to restrict their own districts but the other 50+ are not buying it at all. Its gonna take just a little while for the State Numbers to start ringing in Andy's ears like a siren but once he starts counting the number of Democrat seats he will loose next election, I am pretty sure the backpedaling will begin.

Im sad he did this but certain the story wont end the way it looks today. Those that let power get to their head almost never catch themselves before they step well over the line and Andy is in that place today. He and Bloomy will have lots of time to consider changing their ways after they loose their keys to the executive playroom. In the end, I believe this will make NY stronger, we needed someone to really crap in our Wheaties to remind us of why sh1tflakes are for others!
