Just feel In love with my NEW SHTF gun which is a Kel-tec Sub 2000
Just some of the reasons I love this gun for SHTF is takes 9mm takes a very wide variety of mags and weighs only 5.4 pounds with a pistol grip on it , It recoil is so low I even shot it with my broken thumb lol
Anyone else have a rifle that the have and just feel in love with and used as your SHTF gun ?

I shot a break action .223 target rifle, and it was one of the sexier guns I've shot. The report made my teeth rattle, and at 100 yards we were still blowing holes through the bulls eye. Not sure what it's effect on target would be, but if the SHTF, I'm just sitting on his roof with that while other friends and family arm themselves with the other goodies stashed in the gun safe.

    Can do ...
It takes G17,G19 S&W59 and one more I can't remember with it being able to take all these mags it can use a varied mag cap which is very useful and I had a G17 and never got around to selling the mags so by accident I had 8 mags for this gun before I bought it . And it uses a very common round 9mm which is low recoil and very very common and highly used by many weapons and is also a light round in weight and recoil especially with the grip and rifle setup and takes very little skill to master . The more and from the tests I have done the realibilty is very well I have done tests and I have never had a malfunction (yet) with 1000 rounds, the only problem is when it folds up for the "easier" storage which I don't see and takes too long to open in my opinion it's a good design BUT was not well executed

Thanks. I've been thinking of getting one. I'd like to shoot one first, or at least hold it.

They are very light I think base weight fully loaded with the base mag is 4 pounds they have many after market parts so yeah I plan on adding some features like red dot , woodland camo stock grip and fore grip and buying a few high cap G17 mags

Congrats on your sub2K. They are fun - I have one too! BTW when you are cleaning it don't freak out if the hammer falls when you have the bolt out. You can push the hammer back with a wooden dowell.

Thanks but I'm gonna go and see how long I can go with abusing the hell out of it with no cleaning so if SHTF does happen I have an idea of how long it can last without cleaning

A Keltec is one of the only brands I would be willing to push into the ground without cleaning it.

Go for it! I can't wait to hear how long it'll go.

I have a Sub 2K also. My first purchase after owning one was several of the 30+ round mags. Now that makes it a SHTF gun.
