A tie for me between the Mossberg 500/590 series guns and Remington 870 as far a good utility pump guns. Otherwise I'd love to have a Beretta Premium grade shotgun, but don't have the money since they cost more than my house.

Remington 870 Express Super Magnum 12ga. my wife bought me for Christmas in 1998. Still a fine shotgun and has killed many different critters over the years.

Remington 1100. Been together 50 years. Outlasted two wives, seven houses, 5 dogs, 5 boats, and all but one car, and still running like a watch, as do all it's sisters. But I also like my Wingmaster Magnum and my BSS Sporter 20. And about a dozen other SxSs.

Winchester model 12 20g. Sentimental value as well as my first shotgun. She sees much more use than my 870.

Mossberg 500 20g with a wood stock set. With a HD barrel and a field barrel. It's a very useful tool.

F.I.E. SB-1 .410. Parents got it for me Christmas of 1988, and it is still used by me for small game hunting, and busting coyotes in the back yard. Throw beautiful patterns with 3 in #4 and #6s. Dead on at 50 yards with a slug.

Yes, i do have bigger and better shotguns, but that .410 is the one that I will never give up. It is my first one.

The Saiga shotguns sell for over $800 in this area. I have yet to see a Saiga that has been fired enough to say if they are good or bad.

I did a quick google to find an image but I have an early Benelli M1 Super 90 that was imported by Hk. It is a great field gun and digests any load I want to shoot. I have a mag extension for mine that increase capacity to 8 ( I think,,,havent used it for years). It is a smooth shooting gun and will fire as quick as you pull the trigger. I love the fact it is very capable but does not appear to be overly tactical.

    Mossy 590 I suppose.

Or... Money no object, I'd say a Salient Arms International Benelli M4
