What is one of your favorite hunting curio & relic rifle?
Lee-Enfield 303 British made in 1917
Favorite hunting rifle would be my winchester model 70 270.
Browning BAR Safari .30-06
Spanish 7 X 57 short rifle. I have 2 of them. Coyotes with 120 grainers or elephants with 175's.
I will always love my 303 british (inherited from my Grandfather) but it's hard to beat my 308 norma mag for my big game hunting. Loved plinking on the farm with my Cooey 22's growing up and still use them for birds.
favorite old rifle
M1 garand and 1903 Springfield, if it wasn't for these two rifles we would all probably be goose stepping today!!! and who couldn't love the work horse of America the 30-06 one of the finest rounds ever developed!!!
Model 70 Winchester in 7mm 08
Most definitely the M-1A.
Pennsy we are not that fortunate
Win 70 classic
mine would have to be my 1903 springfield 30/06 sporterized it myself many years ago and still shoots 3 shots under an inch at 100yds.
A-Bolt Browning 7mm Rem Mag
Browning X-Bolt 300 ultra Mag. If you can see it you can hit it.
My Remington 7600 pump in good old 30-06. Accurate, fast AIMED second shots and I just love how it handles.
I must say, I have a remington 76 pump (2 generations older - 76, 760, 7600
and I second that for favorite hunter.
I like my Savage 99 in 300 savage. Its taken lots o tasty vittles, but having 4 rounds + 1 for fast shooting, nothing beats my 76 Rem in .30-06
my trusted ole thutty thutty
Winchester model 70 30-06 PRE 64!
My custom Mauser.
Marlin 336 in 30-30 , this model has killed more deer and bear than anything else out there.
