My father in law is trying to sell his Ruger mini30 and isn't getting any interest. It's listed for $1850 and has 4 20 round factory mags, 1 5 round mag, Nikon Bushmaster 4-12 scope with factory rings and 100 rounds of ammo. It hasn't been shot much and he always takes real good care of his things. Is the price out of line or is he posting the sale in the wrong places? I'd buy it from him but I recently bought 2 handguns and a shotgun so the wife is not to receptive to the idea.

Way too high, he might have gotten that in January or thereabouts, but not now.

Maybe $750 to $850for the bundle.

I'll let him know that. He's not trying to gouge anyone just would like fair market price.

Agreed. Even $750 might be stretching it.

Gun show prices are still running high, but I saw one at a recent one that was almost the same without scope and he couldn't generate interest at $900. I would say the $700-800 range would generate at least some interest.

With the exception of the last few months when stuff got way out of hand a person going use the auctions to look for prices in certain parts of the country or like I did was get prices form all over and then use that as a guide.

At 1850 I'd want two of them though....Unless it was hand delivered by our oh so cool POTUS. Cause that would be really entertaining to me.

For a newer model mini-30 with all the accessories mentioned I could see a price of maybe $800 but no more and honestly $700 would get more people interested. Good Luck.

I also have to agree with drumjunkie. I would be willing to pay a premium if it was hand delivered by Mr. Soterro. It would certainly be entertaining.

I agree with others. He might have had some interest a couple months ago ..... maybe.

    $700 seems about right today.

I don't think thats a very popular gun anymore. Everyone is looking for the ar type. Around here it would be popular because thats what we train with. New ones go for around $700.
