Farrah Fawcett has passed away peacefully today due to cancer
There is no "peaceful" with cancer. The world is a darker place without her.
That is very sad news. I had her poster on my wall for many years.
I think I was 6 years old when Charlie's Angels was on, but I was so in love with her. I, too, had her poster on my wall (right next to Lonnie Anderson) for years.
It is, indeed, a darker place without her.
I did too. I think in those days, Farrah was every young mans dream girl.
She will be missed.
Although I never met her, I used to sack groceries for her parents in Houston. They seemed like nice people. I went to high school with her cousin Randy. He was murdered in about 1980 or so.
Ahhh, Farrah. Rest in peace.
This is truly a dark spot. Farrah was one of my first crushes and she will always live in my heart.
Eff You Cancer!! *arm gesture*
Still got her poster. She was one hot Lady. Amazingly she could even act. I will miss that mane of hair, and that smile. RIP me Lady.
Very sad. I must say, she was still a good-looking lady.
Farahhhh. She was a good person as well. I remember being pissed when she married Lee Majors, and he was the 6 Million Dollar Man. I also remember being happy when they divorced. She will be missed. The greatest pin-up gal of our time.
I tols my 6th grade teacher that I wanted to marry Farrah Fawcett. I had such a crush on her. She will be missed. She was a lovely lady with a HUGE heart.
Cancer does not discriminate.
No more pain. Rest in peace.
I makes me feel very old when people who were once famous when I was young die like this. Not old enough to be tragic, but still young.
I had that poster of her in my barracks from 1976-79. It was also in just about every shop breakroom on the flightline. She's now pain free and with the real angels..................markerdown
Me and some of the other forty-somethings were discussing this. It's almost like people we somehow knew/grew up with are dropping off left and right.
Seems a little creepy.
Get used to it. I remember Elvis as a live person, as do you. However, by the time I knew who Elvis was, he was doing the Vegas gig. Fat sweaty guy in a jumpsuit and doing katas on stage.
When Ozzy goes, I may go as well.
I'm going to miss Farrah.... I still have that one piece bathing suit poster firmly burned into my memory. Very sexy!
To show my age I remember when Elvis was first on the Ed Sullivan show and they would only show him on screen from the neck up, because his hips were to suggestive
He11 I remember Ed introducing the Beetles.
She went to anal cancer. What a ****ty way to die.
