hey guys/gals, is there a good site that shows factory ammo load data? thanks
IMO invest in a good modern reloading book-
I do not trust internet stuff on important things-------
I agree you never know what's true out on the net.
You are wanting to know what load the factory uses? Not likely. Large manufacturers use canister powders not available to you and I (for the most part). They develop loads for a specific batch of powder, primers, cases, bullets. Each lot is custom developed independantly. To say Remchester 9mm 124 gr JHP is loaded with 4.6 gr of powder X is not realistic. "Powder X" is actually "Powder X, Lot 123ABC from supplier B-43". You have no way of knowing exactly what this powder is.
When you decide on what powder to use, just go on their website. More information there than you can ever use.
thanks friends, i'm not wanting to copy their recipes. just wondering why the remington 180gr .44mag that you can buy at wally world is such a hot load. i reload .44mag and was just wondering...
