Anyone else have any troubles with it every once in a while on a range trip it will drop the mag on every round I fire thru the gun

It ran flawlessly before swapping the release and even after for a little while problem just started a few months back, like I said its not every range trip I make just every so often, not sure what's up.

Could also be the metal tab got bent or the spring needs to be replaced

I know this threads a couple of months old but wondering if you got it figured out. And why swap in the first place, the factory ambidextrous mag release on my usp 40 works great either hand even with gloves on. Seems if it were extended more it may just get in the way or snag easier. Do you have a picture of the extended release?

Yes I adjusted the angle of the Metal tab works great now swapped it because the standard is small and harder to manipulate u can see the extended release on HKparts.net that's where I bought it it has great reviews everywhere I've read about them.
