I have a question.

I'm looking for an extended mag release for my Colt 1991A1. Has to be IDPA compliant. I run Wilson 47D mags in this gun. The mag release has to be blued, from bar stock (no MIM) and fit well in the Colt.

Wilson sells a few MIM parts, as part of their "value" line. They ask about half the price for these parts as compared with those that are cut from barstock.

I have a hard time figuring out why someone would specifically order an aftermarket MIM part, considering the shipping and fitting costs involved; you might as well get a higher quality part.
