-This weekend 9 UN countries had their credit rating downgraded!

-Italy has fundamentally changed its entire Gov. in four days. They are also making loans backed by LAND!!! Italy is for sale!

-In the last year 1 million Britons took out an emergency pay day loan!

-In Europe everyone is borrowing and the cost of borrowing is getting more expensive.

This, like it or not, is the USA's problem. Thats means it is our problem!

The world is fast going down the tubes due to socialism.

"The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people's money." I think it was Margaret Thatcher that said that and how right she is. Americans only need to look at Europe and see where we are headed as most countries in Europe are socialist to a large degree. Why can't we learn from other's mistakes instead of repeating them?

It doesn't take a genius to understand that spending more than you make will lead to bankruptcy, and many in power DO understand this. Many don't; they're truly stupid but they don't really matter in the larger picture.

The question is this: Why are politicians, bankers and others deliberately trying to destroy the West's economies? Some have theorized it's standard operating procedure for the Rothschilds: feed on an economy until its dead and move on to the next one. The next logical step for them, then, would be Asia. But what does that mean for Europe and by extension the U.S. in the long run?

I think it is part and parcel of the New World Order. And it is becoming clearer and clearer each week.

Exactly. While we look at socialism and wonder how could anyone be for it, it isn't that difficult to understand if you look at it from the have nots point of view. Most wouldn't have a thing without it, so what do they have to lose by supporting it to the bitter end?

The problem is through the decades, the world has dumbed down to the point we have more idiots to support, than we do productive members of society to support them. A bit like having the life raft turn over with only 1 swimmer, and 10 people who can't. They'll drown the swimmer, and all die in the process. But they would die anyway, so to them what's the difference?

Our nation has become so overly saturated with stupid idiots we can't possibly turn this around. One only has to look at the "occupy" movement. Yes, we could and should cut out Welfare and Food Stamps immediately, but it won't happen. The entire Democratic Party of this country is based on the supporting of idiots. More idiots, more votes. For this to turn around you have to convince worthless, lazy, uneducated people that self reliance, along with supporting yourself and family, is better than having the government do it for you. You will never do that because they are too stupid to care. It's easier for them to sit on their *** and collect a check. They have been taught to feel, by people like Hussein, that they in fact "deserve" it. Remember, there is no easier task than to convince an idiot they're doing well by handing them something, and telling them they deserve to have it given to them.

Look at Wisconsin. They were going broke in spite of being taxed to death. They elected Scott Walker to cut government spending, and in the process clean up the financial mess that is destroying that state. He did, and now they want to kill him for it. The reason is simple. They want their free stuff regardless of the financial consequences. Hooray for me, and screw you. This is the mentality of the liberal, union loving Democrat. They just delivered over a million signatures of fellow idiots to the State Capitol yesterday to recall him.

Why? Because they want to go back to the way it was of being over paid, and at the same time watch as their state goes down the financial drain. They don't care. Back to the swimmer / lifeboat analogy. You cannot have an intelligent argument about socialism with these people, because the ones who support it are idiots. If you want to see the result of trying to have such an argument, go out in your front yard and argue with a tree.

    I couldnt agree more.

There is no conspiracy of ancient economic vampire type organizations doing this. Its just human nature. We havent had a big war or other disaster to keep the worknots in check so naturally we will develop a critical mass of lazy worthless types and have to war it out as resources deplete.

I dont see this ending anytime soon or short of nearly a billion people dying because of liberal socialistic feelgoodness.

We will likely be told that we need to step in and bail Europe out. It will be a matter of life and death and has to happen at once, much like the bail outs and tarp we saw here. Every time you hear "it has to be done right now" you'd better do all you can to keep it from taking place. Truth is we have been sending money over there. You folks ever notice how much the leadership of this nation tries to prop us socialism all over the world but will never fan the flames of true progress to man's better good, a great axample of this is when the Iranians were protesting the blatantly fake elections and obama looked the other way.

I'm sure this economic bad news in Europe will have a huge affect on us since that's exactly what the liberal leadership wants. We just can't pass up a good disaster to further the cause of socialism now can we.

That would be the equivalent of telling your neighbor not to worry, you'll pick up his mortgage payment......While your house goes into foreclosure.

Yep, just what we've been doing. We can just borrow a little more from China.

If Euro collapses, it will take our economy right down with it. The Fed and big banks are pretty deep into the Euro.

China has it's own set of issues, their GDP is an epic level house of cards, and it's about ready to collapse under it's own unsupported weight.

Why is all this happening? IDK... When one world order was being initially floated, i said this is a bunch of conspiracy hooey... I'm not so sure anymore.

My fear is, this is going to be ugly, happen very quickly, and last for decades... to the point of knocking civilization back an entire century.

It's already in progress. Italy is now a facist state, again. It's whole central government just changed without any vote. They have issued laws that all purchases over 1500 dollars will be made with a credit card. The amount will be stepped down in the future.

Greece has had 100 billion dollars taken out of their banks by its citizens. A couple of months ago there was speculation of Greece defaulting, now it is being talked about with certainty.

As the euro declines money will flow into the U.S. which will help us in the short term. In the long term if we don't unhinge from the global structure it will drowned us while trying to save them.

The facts above are from memory. The opinion is based from a wide varity of sources. In the end it will be hindsight that gets the particulars and timeline right.

There's no doubt a New World Order has been in the planning stages for years. Up until Bush 41 it really wasn't spoken of in public but he was a globilist that was in favor of it. I can assure you that if obama has his way we will throw a staggering amount of money into the European mess. Those are socialist nations and in his mind too big to fail. Many GOP will go for it too, just look at how many jumped on the TARP scam. As several has stated this will take our country down with it. We can't even get our elected officials to balance our budget so why can we expect to keep them out of this mess. It is coming.

I'm like allot of people too that wonder what I can do to assure the well being and safety of my family and friends. My first thought is to be able to do live with less than we have now. Lets just take for example our country being knocked back 100 years as partdeux has suggested. That would mean many of us would be without electricity and running water. Most of us here could deal with that just fine. Money would likely be of little value so what's next...barter stuff and work. We're already geared towards protecting ourselves with deadly force if needed and we may very well need to do that. My biggest fear is that our government rounding us up and taking all of our abilities away from us. To me that's the biggest monster to face.

Jim1611, the monster has a name it's called tyranny. It has several heads like the hellish hydra. Each of its heads bites at our lives with the same purpose but different jaws. The masters (ruling elite) have crafted this beast of destruction one piece at a time, much like Dr. Frankenstein did his.

    PATRIOT ACT
    DEPT. HOMELAND DEFENSE
    OBAMACARE
    NDAA

They are still working on stifling free speech. That is being crafted now SOPA.

When all the parts are bolted together the leash will be handed to the tyrant. Then the beast will be set loose to come for the rest of our freedoms in the end game.

You are absolutely correct. We should fight back against tyranny. It's our duty to do so.

    partduex,

I dont think we will go down so much because of the Euro but because we have a global economy. The only reason we are not "feeling" this like what we are seeing in Europe is because the Dollar is the currency of the global market and we are the only one allowed to print (which we do daily).

European countries are collapsing because they have ~20 hour work weeks, all-encompasing social programs, extremely corrupt leaders, etc...

All we can do now is try to "cleave-and-leave" Europe, Africa, and the Middle East to the fullest extent we can as fast as we can, and Focus on our domestic issues.

Unless Texas succeeds then Adios Suckers!!!!

Oil and food are principally traded on the dollar. We are trashing the dollar by printing lots of extra dollars, which has a HUGE impact on people that must buy things... like food, based on the dollar.

What would you call 50% of the households that receive at least some of their money from the govt, 50% of the population that does not pay income tax, huge increase in general welfare, etc etc etc? How about the United States. Do you realize when you apply GAAP accounting standards to the US debt, we are actually in worse shape then Greece? These are the same accounting standards the US govt requires of all public traded corporations.

We are the global trading currency of the world. There is NOBODY else prepared to take over that role. This will work, right up until the trust leaves the system. Not many people realize that's what happened in '08, the trust suddenly evaporated when they realized that AIG and Lehman couldn't cover their bets.

Hussein is trying to help that along by 86'ing the gas line. Yes, I know it has nothing to do with pump prices directly, but they look for any excuse to raise them. Besides, this is exactly what he wants......forced conservation. And at the same time put everyone into one of his little "green" $h!tboxes, no matter if they want one or not. Hopefully this will be the final nail in his coffin, and get the moving van scheduled to 1600 North next January.

I was paying over 5 per gallon in NC in 2007.

I can tell you guys, it hurts. Badly. We had gas lines and rationing in my area, east of raleigh about 20 miles. I believe it was when south texas got hit by a hurricane. When it cost 40 dollars to fill up a civic, it will damn near make you cry.
