    Any ya'll have or had a Essex build?
    Traded for one built back in the late 70's & i'm pretty impressed :)
    But of course-----IT'S A 1911 :cool:

    As far as I know, Essex Arms supplied parts for people to "build" their own. Decent stuff for the price.

    I think they are still in business. Google them.
