    He was still doing the voice of Mermaid Man on the Spongebob toons. I don't think you could find a more humble man in Hollywierd. He was defenitly one of the great actors and a damn good man to boot.

    I had just told my 13 yo son about him last week as we were watching the movie Mchales Navy with him as the father. I told my son about the original Tv series and we had started watching it on the Internet. Sorry to see him pass, we wont see many more like him. RIP

    he was a greatly underrated actor and should have got more recognition for the roles he played rip EB ,his oscar for marty was well deserved it was a great movie.

    Kirk Douglas, perhaps? He's in his 90's. Still going strong however. Seen him on the Bill Maher show. Very witty! :)

    The Classic era of America is going away very fast. We once produced classic cars fine firearms quality actors famous across the globe. Mr. Borgnine and John Wayne are having a Scotch & Water tonite.:)
